Using Broombook
Broombook is scheduling, booking and crew software for residential cleaning businesses. Each business that signs up is responsible for its own services, prices and policies, and for the clients and cleaners it adds. When you book a cleaning through a business’s Broombook booking page, your agreement for the visit is with that business. How we handle personal information is in our privacy policy.
Text messages (SMS)
Program. Broombook appointment texts: cleaning businesses on Broombook text their clients about visits (a booking received or confirmed, a reminder the day before, a visit moved or cancelled, a note when the visit is done, a request to review a finished visit, a payment that did not go through, a waitlist spot opening, and replies to the client’s own texts), and owners and cleaners get texts about their own bookings and schedule. Each text names the business it comes from.
How you agree. By ticking the optional, unchecked “Text me about my visits” box on a booking page, or by telling the business you want texts, you agree to get these texts at the number you gave. Agreeing is not a condition of booking. See how the opt-in looks.
How often. Usually 2 to 4 texts per visit, more if you write to the business. Message and data rates may apply.
Stop or get help. Reply STOP (or UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT) to stop all texts from that number; you will get one text confirming it and nothing after. Reply START to get texts again. Reply HELP for help, or write to hello@broombook.com.
